    Chicken Noodle Soup

    All amounts are approximate. Don't forget to add your soup stone.


    List of Ingredients


    • 4-6 slices bacon cut into small pieces
    • 2 carrots, peeled and coined
    • 3 ribs of celery, sliced
    • 2 handfuls chicken, cooked and cubed
    • 1/2 med. onion, sliced
    • water
    • 1/4 tsp. cumin, ground
    • 3 very large T. chicken base
    • 3 handfuls wide egg noodles
    • 1/4 C. peas, frozen


    Instructions


    1. In your soup pot fry bacon. When crisp remove bacon bits from pot and add remaining ingredients except chicken base, cumin, egg noodles and peas.
    2. Just before vegetables are fork tender add chicken base and cumin. When vegetables are just fork tender add egg noodles. When egg noodles are al dente add peas. Cook about 5-10 minutes longer and turn off.
