    Witchling's Stone Soup

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 Soup Stone
    • 1 lb. stewing beef, cut into bite-sized pieces
    • 1 large onion, cut into chunks
    • baby carrots, a handful
    • 1 rutabaga, cut into bite-sized pieces
    • 5 white potatoes, cut into bite-sized pieces
    • 3 celery ribs, cut into bite-sized pieces
    • Knorr vegetable soup mix
    • beef bouillon cubes
    • tomato bouillon
    • garlic powder
    • onion powder
    • pepper
    • seasoned salt
    • paprika
    • soy sauce
    • olive oil
    • salt


    Instructions


    1. Cook the beef in a small amount of olive oil and add all the seasonings to your taste or others you prefer or have on hand. Include some tomato bouillon with the spices. This should make a medium to thin gravy surrounding the meat. You want to really season the meat as this will be the main source of seasoning for your soup. Cook until meat is almost soft.

    2. Place seasoned meat and it's juice into a crock pot or pot on the stove top. Add all the soup stone, vegetables, soup mix and some beef bouillon cubes. Cook till vegetables are tender. Salt the final soup if needed.
