    Nana's Peanut Butter Cookies

    List of Ingredients


    • 3/4 C. creamy peanut butter
    • 1/2 C. Crisco shortening
    • 1 1/4 C. light brown sugar, packed
    • 3 T. milk
    • 1 T. pure vanilla
    • 1 jumbo egg
    • 1 3/4 C. unbleached all purpose flour
    • 3/4 tsp. sea salt
    • 3/4 tsp. baking soda


    Instructions


    1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Combine flour, salt and baking soda and set aside.
    2. Combine, peanut butter, Crisco, brown sugar, milk and vanilla. When well blended add egg and beat just until blended. Add dry ingredients to wet and mix just until blended.
    3. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto un-greased baking sheet. Cris cross tops of cookies with back side of a fork. Bake for 7 to 8 minutes or until set and just beginning to brown. Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet before removing.
