    Bacon Cheese Dip

    From "The Complete Southern Cookbook" by Tammy Algood

    List of Ingredients


    • One 8-ounce package cream cheese, softened
    • 1 cup grated raclette or sharp Cheddar cheese
    • ½ cup mayonnaise
    • 2 green onions, chopped
    • ½ cup pepper jelly, melted
    • 7 buttery crackers, crushed
    • 8 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled


    Instructions


    1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Lightly grease an 8-inch square baking dish and set aside.

    2. In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine the cream cheese, raclette, mayonnaise, onions, and jelly.

    3. Transfer to the prepared baking dish. Top with the crushed crackers and crumbled bacon. Bake 15 minutes. Serve warm with crackers.

      Makes 8 servings.
