Chocolate Almond Balls

"Homemade candy will tempt every sweet friend you know. The flavor of this homemade candy will improve after twenty-four hours, so make it ahead of time."
List of Ingredients
• 3 (6-ounce) packages semisweet chocolate chips
• 1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
• 3 Tbsp amaretto
• ½ tsp pure almond extract
• 1 cup chopped almonds
Recipe
In a heavy saucepan over low heat, combine the chocolate and the milk. Stir until the chips are completely melted.
Add the amaretto and the extract. Cool to room temperature and then cover and refrigerate two hours.
Shape the dough into ¾-inch balls and roll in the chopped almonds. Place on a baking sheet lined with wax paper. Refrigerate until firm, and then store in a tightly covered container.
Makes 5½ dozen.
