    Super Honey Mustard Dip

    List of Ingredients

    â—¦ â…“ cup white distilled vinegar
    â—¦ â…“ cup Colman's dry mustard
    â—¦ ¼ cup sugar
    â—¦ 1 egg
    â—¦ ¼ cup honey
    â—¦ 1 â…” cups mayonnaise

    Recipe

    In a blender, combine vinegar, mustard, sugar and egg; blend 1 minute.

    Pour mixture into a small, heavy stainless steel saucepan and heat over medium-low heat for about 4 to 6 minutes, whisking constantly to prevent lumps or curdling, or until mixture is thickened to the consistency of thin custard.

    Pour heated, thickened mixture into a large mixing bowl, add honey and mayonnaise, and whisk vigorously with a wire whip until there are no lumps. Refrigerate to chill thoroughly, at least 4 hours, before serving.

    Makes 2 ¾ cups



    • May be stored after being chilled, covered and refrigerated, for up to five days.
