    Tartar Sauce

    Recipe Introduction

    "Commercial tartar sauce is often full of sugar and corn syrup. This tangy tartar will add zip to your fish."

    List of Ingredients

    ◦ 1 cup homemade mayonnaise
    ◦ 2 tablespoons minced dill pickle
    ◦ 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed and chopped (optional)
    ◦ 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
    ◦ 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    ◦ 1 teaspoon grated onion

    Recipe

    Mix all the ingredients together in a small mixing bowl. Chill until ready to use. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.


    Makes about 1⅓ cups
