Nita's Christmas Dressing

List of Ingredients




4 stalks celery, diced
4 green onions, diced
1 small can chopped black olives
3/4 cup raisins
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 can water chestnuts, diced
1 1/2-2 cups chicken broth
2 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 box Mrs. Cubbison’s Dressing
1 tube pork sausage
Turkey giblets, chopped (optional)

Recipe



In a saucepan, fry and crumble sausage until no longer pink.
Drain grease.
Add celery, onion, water chestnuts, olive and raisins and butter.
Add cinnamon and sugar to taste.
Add broth and/or water to desired consistency.
Sauté and then mix in dressing.

Spray casserole with “Pam”.
Bake dressing during last 45 mins. with turkey.
* Cover 30 mins. And uncover for last 15 mins.to brown.
