    2 cubes butter, at room temperature
    1/4 tsp. salt
    3 cup sifted powdered sugar
    1/4 cup shortening
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

    Recipe



    Mix at medium speed, cream together butter, salt and 1 cup sugar until light & fluffy.
    Add alternately the shortening & sugar, beating until very smooth (quite awhile).
    Add vanilla.

    *Butter makes frosting flow smooth through decorating tube.
