John's Linguini and Clam Sauce

List of Ingredients
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. olive oil
4 lrg. cloves garlic
1 cup white wine, or water
1/2 cup chopped parsley, or 1 tbsp. dried parsley
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. black pepper
Garlic salt to taste
2 (6 1/2 oz.) can chopped clams with juice
*Can use crab instead, (double to 4 cans - 2 cans minced crab + 2 cans chunky crab.)
2 tbsp. cornstarch
Cold water
1 lb. linguini, cooked al dente
Parmesan cheese, gratedRecipe
Bring all ingredients, except linguine and Parmesan, to a boil.
In a small bowl, mix together cornstarch and a little cold water to form a thin mixture.
Add cornstarch mixture to boiling sauce.
Reduce heat and simmer 10 mins.
Serve on top of linguine and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
