    Gramma's Katie’s Macaroni ‘N Cheese

    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. small elbow macaroni, prepared al dente
    2 lbs. cheese, cut into cubes (grate and save a bit more for topping)

    WHITE SAUCE:

    2 cups cold milk
    4 tbsp. Gold Medal's Wondra Flour
    4 tbsp. butter
    1/2 tsp. Salt
    1/4 tsp. Pepper
    *2 slices processed American cheese

    Recipe



    Heat white sauce ingredients (except sliced cheese) to boiling over med. heat, stirring constantly.
    Boil and stir 1 minute.
    Add sliced cheese and stir until well melted and blended.

    Mix together cooked macaroni, cubed cheese and white sauce.
    Put into buttered casserole dish.
    Top with grated cheese.
    Cover and bake at 350 for 45 mins.
    Uncover, add extra shredded cheese on top and broil 2-4 mins. until lightly browned.
