    List of Ingredients

    1 cup apple cider vinegar
    1 tablespoon kosher salt
    1 tablespoon sugar
    1/2 C. water
    4 shallots (large (about 1/2 pound) thinly sliced crosswise into rings)

    Recipe

    Combine the vinegar, salt, sugar and water in a small saucepan. Simmer over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Place the shallots in a pint jar an pour the hot vinegar mixture over them. Cover and refrigerate for 4+ hours before eating.

    Makes 1 c.
