    Sauce for Aldi Pork Schnitzels

    Source of Recipe

    My own

    Recipe Introduction

I bought the frozen pork schnitzels from Aldi and they were surprisingly good. This is the recipe I came up with for a sauce to go with the schnitzels. It comes together very quickly and is very good.

    List of Ingredients

Fond from the pan that the schnitzels cooked in
    5 T. minced shallots
    1 T. lemon juice
    4 t. Dijon
Half a jar of Heinz pork gravy
    3 T. whipping cream
    1 T. butter
Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

    Recipe

Add shallots to fond and sauté until soft (add a little oil, if needed). Add lemon juice and Dijon. Add the half jar of gravy. Cook a few minutes and add the whipping cream and stir. Lastly, swirl in the. Add pepper and taste. Adjust seasonings, as needed.

Makes enough sauce for 4 schnitzels plus a little for some potatoes or noodles.
