    List of Ingredients




    1 lb. brazil nuts, chopped
    1 lb. walnuts, chopped
    1/2 lb. pecans, chopped
    1 c. dates
    1 t. vanilla extract
    1 c. sugar
    1½ c. flour
    2 heaping T. baking powder
    5 eggs, separated
    1 lb. candied cherries - half red, half green
    1/2 lb. candied pineapple, chopped

    Recipe



    Toss fruit & nuts together until well mixed.

    Add egg yolks and dry ingredients.

    Whip egg whites until stiff and then fold into first mixture.

    Spoon mixture into tube pan and press down to eliminate air pockets.

    Place in cold oven; then turn heat to 350° and bake for 1 hour.
