    Amaretto Bread Pudding


    Thin bread slices, buttered
    5 eggs
    1/2 cup sugar
    pinch salt
    1&1/4 cup milk
    1&1/2 cup heavy cream
    1&1/2 teasp vanilla
    1&1/2 Tablsp Amaretto
    nutmeg and cinnamon to taste

    Recipe




    Preheat oven to 325°. Cover bottom of a 9x13 pan or baking dish with buttered bread. Mix together all the remaining ingredients. Pour over bread. Bake for 55 minutes.


    Cut into squares. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream on top and a small amt of Amaretto (use a spoon so you won't over do it!).
