    Recipe Introduction

    This easy ham and cheese quiche is really for the meat lovers since it’s so full of ham and bacon. It’s hearty enough to serve for dinner or it would be a great addition to your brunch menu.

    List of Ingredients

    1 9-inch pie crust, par baked*
    1 cup diced ham
    4 lices bacon, cooked and crumbled
    1-1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
    1 Tablespoon all-purpose flour
    3 eggs
    1-1/2 cups milk
    1/8 t. ground black pepper

    Recipe

    Preheat oven to 350° degrees F.

    Add the diced ham and bacon to the par-baked pie crust, spreading evenly across the bottom.

    In a small bowl, toss together the cheese and flour so the cheese is coated and sprinkle over the meat in the pie crust.

    In a large measuring cup, whisk together the eggs, milk and pepper. Pour over the meat/cheese and bake at for 40-55 minutes. When done, the middle will still be slightly jiggly, which is ok. It will set up as it sits. Let the quiche sit for at least 15 minutes before slicing and serving.

    * TO PAR-BAKE A PIE CRUST
    Preheat oven to 450° degrees. Roll out pie crust, place in pan and poke the bottom and sides several times with a fork. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake pie crust for 8 minutes. Remove aluminum foil and lower oven temperature to 325° degrees. Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes or until the pie crust is set and slightly browned. Cool completely before adding filling.
