Christmas in Ballarat salad

Recipe Introduction
Serves 4. We found this was great served with barbecued mushrooms with Tuscan seasoning and marinated tofu. We drank a dry white wine with it.
List of Ingredients
- 1 small head any lettuce or large handful of mixed salad greens
- 1/2 avocado sliced if reasonably firm or mashed into the dressing otherwise
- 1 large orange peeled and segmented
- 2 sticks celery, thinly sliced
- 2 radishes, thinly sliced
- 1/2 continental cucumber, halved lengthwise and sliced
- Dukkah or sunflower seeds to sprinkle
- red wine or balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper
- walnut oil (about twice as much as the vinegar)
- tiny amount (1/4 tsp) rice syrup (optional)
- Anything else you must have in your salad
Instructions
- Toss all the raw veg together. Mix all other ingredients together and carefully pour over salad.
- Serve with a nice bread.
