Sweet Chex Party Mix

List of Ingredients



• 1 lg. (17.5 oz) box Corn Chex
  
• 1 lg. (17.5 oz) box Rice Chex
  
• 1 lg. (17.5 oz) box Golden Grahams
  
• 1 c. slivered almonds
  
• 2 c. l sugar
  
• 2 c. light corn syrup
  
• 3 sticks (1 1/2 c.) butter (no substitutes)
  






Instructions



1. In very large bowl, mix cereals and nuts.
   
   
2. In saucepan, bring corn syrup, sugar and butter to a boil and continue to boil for 2 minutes. Add to cereal mixture and mix well. Spread on waxed paper to cool.
   
   






Final Comments


Makes a lot of syrup. I will usually add a box of Rice Chex as well.
