    Cavatelli and Broccoli

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 garlic cloves, chopped
    • 2 T. Olive oil
    • 1 head broccoli, tough stems removed, broken into small pieces
    • 2 cups chicken broth
    • 1 pkg. frozen cavatelli
    • 1/2 stick butter
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • grated parmesan cheese


    Instructions


    1. In a frying pan, saute the garlic in the oil. Before it browns add thebroccoli, simmer till al dente.
    2. Add broth to cover broccoli and simmer till tender.
    3. Meanwhile, cook cavatelli to desired doneness.
    4. Drain.
    5. Toss with butter.
    6. Pour broccoli over cavatelli add salt and pepper, top with parmesan cheese.


    Final Comments


    Serves 4.
