    Cream of Tomato Basil Soup

    List of Ingredients

    1 28 oz. can crushed tomatoes
    1 15 oz. can tomato sauce
    1/2 stick butter
    1 cup half-n-half
    2 tsp. dried basil
    2 Tblsp. sugar
    1 tsp. garlic salt
    salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe

    Combine all ingredients except the half-n-half and heat slowly. Let simmer for 15-20 min.

    Then warm the half-n-half in the microwave for 30 seconds so as not to cool down the soup mixture. Add warm half-n-half to soup mixture and heat to serving temperature being careful not to boil.
