ABM Garlic Parmesan Bread

List of Ingredients




3 c. bread flour (King Arthur is best)
1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder (or to taste)
1 1/2 tsp. yeast (SAF or Red Starr)
2/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
(or Parmesan/Romano or Parmesan/Romano/Asiago blends)
1 c. warm water
2 1/2 T. unsalted butter (also called "sweet butter")
3/4 tsp salt (I use kosher)
1 T. honey (don't use a heavy honey, like clover or buckwheat; it will overwhelm the bread)

Recipe



Add ingredients to bread machine pan according to manufacturer' s directions. Use white or basic setting with light or medium crust setting, When bread is finished, remove from machine and lightly brush bread top with softened butter.
