    Quoted from webpage: "I've been to Al's Diner when I was living in Minneapolis in the 70's. It serves nothing but breakfasts and is packed with people standing in line to get a seat most of the time they are open. On Diners, Drive-ins and Dives,when Guy visited, they showed the award they got from James Beard. The food there is great and they deserve their reputation."

    List of Ingredients




    ***Dry Mix:***
    3 cups white flour
    2 teaspoons sugar
    1 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    1 tablespoon baking soda
    ***Wet Mix:***
    Beat 2 eggs with 1 quart buttermilk

    1/2 stick melted margarine

    Recipe



    Mix dry ingredients, set aside. Add dry mix to wet mix then add 1/2 stick melted margarine. Cook and serve.
