Southern Comfort Cake

CAKE:
1 box of yellow cake mix NO pudding added
3 1/2 oz pkg instant vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 c. of cold water
1/2 c. of oil
1/2 c. of Southern Comfort
1 c. chopped pecans

GLAZE:
4 T. of butter
1/8 c. of water
1/2 c. of sugar
1/4 c. Southern Comfort



Recipe



CAKE:
Combine cake ingredients except pecans and beat at med. speed for 2 minutes. Stir in pecans. Pour into a greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 325°F for 60-70 minutes. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Invert on serving plate. Prick holes and immediately glaze 2-3 times.

GLAZE:
Melt butter in small pan. Add sugar and water; boil 3 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add Southern Comfort. Pour over cake to glaze. Garnish with pecans.
