Chocolate Chip Butter Cookies

1 cup butter
1/2 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 cup confectioners sugar
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips


Recipe



In a microwave or heavy saucepan, melt the butter. Stir in
the vanilla. Cool completely. In a large bowl, combine the
flour and sugar. Stir in the butter mixture and the chocolate chips. The mixture will be crumbly. Roll the dough into 1" balls. Place 2" apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Flatten slightly. Bake at 375°F for 12 minutes or until the edges begin to brown. Remove to wire racks to cool. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
