    2 cups all purpose flour
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1 teaspoon baking powder
    1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
    1 cup granulated sugar
    1 cup (packed) dark brown sugar
    2 large eggs
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    2 cups rolled oats
    1 package 96 ounces) semisweet chocolate chips
    1/4 cup pecan halves, chopped

    Recipe



    1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.

    2. Sift the flour, baking soda, salt, and baking powder together onto a piece of waxed paper, and set aside.

    3. Cream the butter and both sugars together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla,and then add the flour mixture and mix well. Add the oats, the chocolate chips, and the nuts, mixing well after each addition.

    4. Drop the dough by teaspoon 1/2" apart onto the prepared baking sheets, and bake in the center of the oven until the cookies are golden, about 15 minutes. Transfer them to wire racks to cool. These cookies will keep in an airtight container for 5 to 6 days. Makes 4 dozen cookies.
