    Shara's Pretzel Topped-Chip Cookies

    1 1/4 cups flour
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    3/4 cup butter, room temperature
    3/4 cup brown sugar
    1 egg
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 cups mini-pretzels, broken into 1-inch pieces
    1 1/4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
    3/4 cup toffee bits, such as Heath brand toffee

    Heat oven to 350. Line baking sheets with parchment paper. In small bowl, combine flour and baking soda. In a large bowl with mixer on medium-high speed, beat butter and sugar until fluffy. On low speed, beat in egg and vanilla. Beat in flour mix. Stir in pretzel pieces, 1 cup chocolate chips and 1/2 cup toffee bits. Drop dough by rounded Tbl. 2" apart onto baking sheets. With moist hands, flatten slightly. Divide equally, press remaining chocolate chips and toffee bits into dough. Bake 15-18 minutes or until lightly browned.
