Margaret's Scotch Shortbread

3/4 lb. butter
3 c. sifted flour
3/4 c. sugar
Recipe
Cream butter and sugar. Add flour. Turn out on bread board; knead with more flour until it's not sticky. Pat in 12x9x3" glass dish; prick with fork. Bake at 350°F for 45-60 minutes until golden brown on top. Cut into fingers while still warm.
