310g can chick peas or 1 cup cooked chick peas
3 tablespoons tahini (sesame paste)
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup oil
Recipe
Drain chick peas. Place chick peas, tahini and lemon juice in the bowl of a food processor or a blender. Crush and peel garlic. Add to chick peas. Process until chick peas are chopped. Gradually add oil down the feed tube and process until mixture is smooth and the required consistency for use.
Makes about 1 cup.
