Recipe Introduction

A delicious, rich salad. The old time favorite for a ladies luncheon.

List of Ingredients

1 can (16 oz) pitted dark sweet cherries
1 pkg (3 oz) cherry gelatin
1 C coca cola
1 T fresh lemon juice
1 pkg (3 z) cream cheese
1/2 C chopped pecans or walnuts.



Recipe

1. Drain cherry juice. Bring 3/4 cup of juice to boiling, add to gelatin. Stir until dissolved.

2. Stir in coca cola and lemon juice. Chill until gelatin mounds slightly.

3. Cut cream cheese into small pieces. Fold cheese, nuts and whole cherries into gelatin. Spoon into 7 individual molds. Chill until firm. Enjoy. Makes 7 servings.
