    Recipe Introduction


    Takes a little time, some unattended, but makes a great meat pie. Should feed four nicely!

    List of Ingredients




    1 Lb. ground beef
    1/2 Lb. pork sausage (bulk) (or turkey sausage)
    1 Large onion, cut up.
    1 tsp. salt or to taste
    1/2 - 1 tsp. pepper to taste
    1 TBSP. Poultry seasoning
    2 - 9" unbaked pie crust (Pre-made or make your own)

    Recipe



    Combine first 6 ingredients. Cover with water. Let simmer for a couple of hours. When done, strain through colander. Line a 9" pie dish with unbaked pie crust, spoon in mixture. Cover with 9" unbaked pie crust and bake for 15 minutes at 450 degrees F. Continue baking for 30 minutes more at 350 degrees F. Be sure to firmly attach the top crust to the bottom crust to avoid boilovers.
