    AMISH PEANUT BUTTER PIE

    Recipe Introduction


    Is there anyone out there that would not like peanut butter pie? I don't think so, unless of course, they can't have peanuts nor the like. This is a cooked, not baked pie.

    List of Ingredients




    1/3 c. flour
    1/2 c. white sugar
    2 c. milk
    2 tbsp. oleo
    1 tsp. vanilla
    Pinch of salt
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    1 (9 inch) baked pie shell

    STREUSEL MIX:
    1/3 c. chunky peanut butter
    3/4 c. confectioners' sugar

    Recipe



    Mix dry ingredients together; add wet ingredients and blend well. Slowly cook filling until thick. Cool well. Blend peanut butter and confectioners' sugar together. Sprinkle 2/3 of this into bottom of baked pie shell. Pour cooled filling on top of crumb mixture. Top with Cool Whip and sprinkle remaining crumbs on top of pie. Set for a few hours in refrigerator before serving.
