    There's nothing like a hearty soup on a cold day!

    List of Ingredients




    3/4 lb. bulk Italian sausage
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 garlic clove, minced
    1 (15 1/2 oz.) can butter beans, drained and rinsed
    1 (15 oz.) can black beans, drained and rinsed
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can diced tomatoes, undrained
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can beef broth
    1 TBSP minced fresh basil or 1 tsp dried basil
    2 TBSP shredded Parmesan cheese

    Recipe



    In a large saucepan, cook the sausage, onion, and garlic until the sausage is browned; drain. Add beans, tomatoes, broth, and basil. Cover and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes. Sprinkle each serving with Parmesan cheese. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
