Recipe Introduction
This is really simple and actually doesn't need a recipe other than as a reminder that it is out there to eat.
List of Ingredients
- bag of frozen edamame (green soy beans)
- salt
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of water. Add salt.
- Add frozen edamame to pot and boil about 4 minutes or so.
Drain water and put the edamame in a big bowl.
- Get out your salt mill, and grind some salt onto the edamame.
- Eat by squeezing out the beans. Discard the shells or husks or whatever the outer thing is called.
Final Comments
OK. I know what you're thinking..."Green soy beans"??!! They do not sound appetizing, but please give them a try. They are really good and are diabetic friendly.
