    1 lb extra lean ground beef
    1 egg
    4 slices bread
    some milk to soak the bread
    3 Tbsp of Parmesan cheese
    1 Tbsp parsley flakes
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    salt and pepper

    Recipe



    Put the bread, ripped up, in a bowl. Pour some milk over it to get it wet. Mix in all ingredients, except meat. Add meat and mix with hands until combined (but not too much or they will be tough). Make balls with hands. Put on cookie sheet or pan (with sides) and bake for at least 1/2 hour at 350F. (They will cook more when you add them to your pasta sauce- and they should cook for 45 minutes total).

    Serve with red sauce and pasta
