    List of Ingredients




    1 bag of Kraft caramels
    3 c. all purpose flour, divided
    1 c. butter, softened
    4 c. confectioners' sugar
    1 tbl. vanilla extract
    6 eggs
    2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    2 tsp. ground allspice
    3 Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored and chopped

    Recipe



    Preheat oven to 350F. Grease and flour two 9x5 loaf pans; set aside.

    1. Cut each caramel into 4-6 pieces. Toss with a small amount of flour in a bowl to prevent them from sticking together; set aside.
    2. Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla extract until fluffy. Add the eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    3. In another bowl, stir together the flour, cinnamon and allspice. Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture, a little at a time, and blend well. Using a spoon, gently stir in the apples and caramel pieces.
    4. Pour batter evenly into the prepared loaf pans. Bake for 60-75 minutes or until loaves test done using a toothpick. Cool on a wire rack and then remove from pans.
