PERFECT PIE CRUST

Recipe Introduction
This pie crust is so easy and always "perfect". Use it for fruit pie, custard pie or quiche.
List of Ingredients
4 cups all purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons salt
1 3/4 cups Crisco
1/2 cup cold water
1 egg
1 tablespoon vinegarRecipe
Mix the flour, sugar and salt together lightly with a fork. Blend the Crisco in until crumbly. Beat together in a cup the water, egg, and vinegar. Add the liquid ingredients to the above and mix well. Form 6 patties (or less if you have a large pie) Place each patty into waxed paper and chill 30 minutes. Roll out on lightly floured board and proceed as usual with pie crusts.
These pattys also freeze well (up to two months) for later use.
