Sweet n Hot Sausage Meatballs

- 2 cans water chestnuts drained
- 1 lb pork sausage
- 1 lb spicy pork sausage
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1 cup maple syrup
- 2/3 cup cider or red wine vinegar
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
Instructions
- In a blender, process the water chestnuts until minced.
- Transfer to a bowl and add the sausages.
- Mix well and form into 1" balls.
- Place in ungreased 10x15 pans.
- Bake, uncovered, @ 350 for 20-25 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
- Meanwhile, in a sauce pan combine the corn starch, syrup, vinegar and soy sauce.
- Stir until smooth.
- Bring to a boil and stir while cooking for 2 minutes.
- Drain meatballs and place into a crockpot.
- Pour sauce over top.
- Heat through on low and serve.
- Serves 12-14
