    Sweet n Hot Sausage Meatballs

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 cans water chestnuts drained
    • 1 lb pork sausage
    • 1 lb spicy pork sausage
    • 1/4 cup corn starch
    • 1 cup maple syrup
    • 2/3 cup cider or red wine vinegar
    • 1/4 cup soy sauce


    Instructions


    1. In a blender, process the water chestnuts until minced.

    2. Transfer to a bowl and add the sausages.

    3. Mix well and form into 1" balls.

    4. Place in ungreased 10x15 pans.

    5. Bake, uncovered, @ 350 for 20-25 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.

    6. Meanwhile, in a sauce pan combine the corn starch, syrup, vinegar and soy sauce.

    7. Stir until smooth.

    8. Bring to a boil and stir while cooking for 2 minutes.

    9. Drain meatballs and place into a crockpot.

    10. Pour sauce over top.

    11. Heat through on low and serve.

    12. Serves 12-14
