Mexican: White Mexican Cheese Dip

List of Ingredients

-1 cup shredded Asadero cheese (see below)
-4 oz jalapeno chilies, drained and chopped
-1/4 cup half and half
-2 T finely chopped onion
-2 tsp ground cumin
-1/2 tsp salt







Recipe

-Heat all ingredients over low heat stirring constantly until cheese is melted.
-Serve with tortilla or corn chips.

**Rusty's Note:
-Asadero cheese is now available at WalMart SuperCenters in the specialty cheese section near the deli.
-It’s about $4.00/pound.
-It's sold as "Mexican Cheese" and has a dip recipe on the package.
