    THIS MAKES 8 KABOBS


    List of Ingredients


    • 2/3 cup oil
    • 1/2 cup beef broth
    • 1/2 cup lemon juice
    • 2 garlic cloves; minced
    • 2 tsp. curry powder
    • 2 tsp. salt
    • 4 bay leaves
    • 16 whole peppercorns
    • 2 lbs. beef sirloin cut into 1 1/2" cubes
    • 2 large green peppers cut into 2" pieces
    • 3 medium tomatoes cut into wedges
    • 3 medium onions cut into wedges


    Instructions


    1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine the first 8 ingredients. Mix well.
    2. Remove 2/3 cup for basting; refrigerate.
    3. Add beef to the remaining marinade. Turn to coat.
    4. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or over night.
    5. Drain and discard the marinade.
    6. On metal or soaked bamboo skewers alternate beef, green peppers, tomatoes, and onions.
    7. Grill over hot coals turning and marinating frequently for 10-15 minutes until meat reaches desired doneness.
    8. You can also cook these inside on a greased rack in the broiler. Broil and baste for 15-20 minutes.
