    Eggs: Crab Quiche

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 9" pie shell unbaked
    • 1 Cup Shredded Swiss Cheese
    • 1/2 cup chopped sweet red pepper
    • 1/4 cup chopped green onions
    • 1 Tbls. margarine
    • 3 eggs
    • 1 1/2 cups half-n-half
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 3/4 Cups chopped imitation crab meat


    Instructions


    1. Line an unpricked pie shell with foil and bake @ 450 for 5 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes.

    2. Immediatley sprinkle crust with 1/2 of the cheese.

    3. Reduce heat to 375

    4. In a skillet, saute the red pepper and onions in the margarine until tender

    5. In a large bowl, whisk eggs, cream, salt and pepper.

    6. Stir in crab, red pepper mixture, and remaining cheese.

    7. Pour into crust.

    8. Bake @ 375 for 30-35 minutes, or until set.

    9. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
