    Chicken and Rice Dinner

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 fryer chicken, cut up
    • 1/3 cups flour
    • salt and pepper
    • oil
    • 2 1/3 cups water
    • 1 1/2 cups uncooked long grain rice
    • 1 cup milk
    • 2 tsp. poultry seasoning
    • salt and pepper taste
    • chopped fresh parsley


    Instructions


    1. Combine flour, salt and pepper.

    2. Heat oil in fry pan.

    3. Dredge chicken in flour mix and fry in oil til brown on all sides.

    4. Meanwhile combine the water, rice, milk, and seasonings.

    5. Pour into a greased 9x13 pan.

    6. Lay fried chicken pieces on top of rice.

    7. Cover loosely with foil and bake @ 350 for 50 minutes.

    8. Sprinkle on parsley right before serving.
