Chocolate Chip Confetti Cookies

List of Ingredients
-3/4 c butter flavor Crisco
-1 1/4 c sugar*
-2 tbsp milk
-1 tbsp vanlla
-1 egg
-1 3/4 c flour
-1 tsp salt
-3/4 tsp baking soda
-1/2 c coarsely chopped peanuts**
-1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chips***
-1/2 c white chocolate chips
-1/2 c milk chocolate chips
Recipe
-Preheat to 375.
-Combine shortening, sugar, milk and vanilla.
-Mix at medium speed of electric mixer until well blended.
-Add egg and mix.
-Add dry ingredients and mix well.
-Add nuts and chips.
-Drop by 2 level tablespoonfuls into a mound for each cookie.
-Space them about 3 inches apart.
-Bake for 8 to 9 minutes.
-Cookies will appear moist but do not over bake.
-Remove from oven and let cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes - they will finish baking on the sheets.
-Remove to wire rack and cool completely.
makes 2 dozen.
Notes:
*Original recipes calls for brown sugar
**original recipe called for 1 c chopped walnuts
***original recipe called for 1/2 c semi-sweet chocolate chunks
I used lowfat milk, a large egg and was very generous with the chocolate chips (all flavors).
I baked for 9 to 10 minutes.
The cookies do not appear baked but they do finish baking on the sheets. I let them sit for 3 to 5 minutes before placing on a wire rack.
I doubled the recipe and ended up with 6 dozen cookies.
