    1 c. white sugar
    1 c. brown sugar
    2 eggs
    1 c. shortening
    2 c. oatmeal
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 1/2 c. salted peanuts

    Recipe



    Sift together flour, baking soda, salt, baking powder and set aside.
    Blend together shortening and sugars.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add flour mixture and stir.
    Then add oatmeal, vanilla and peanuts.
    Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes
