Malted Madness Cookies

List of Ingredients
-1 cup packed brown sugar
-1/2 cup butter or regular margarine, softened
-2 eggs
-2 cups all purpose flour
-1/2 cup chocolate-flavor malted milk powder
-1 tsp baking powder
-1/2 tsp baking soda
-1/4 tsp salt
-Malt Glaze (recipe follows)
-1 cup malted milk ball candies, crushed
Malt Glaze
-1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
-1/4 cup chocolate-flavored malted milk powder
-2 to 3 tablespoons milk
-/2 tsp vanilla
Recipe
Cookies:
-Heat oven to 350 F.
-Grease cookie sheet with shortening.
-Beat brown sugar, butter and eggs in a large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed or mix with a wooden.
-Mix until well blended.
-Stir in flour, malted milk powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
-Drop dough by rounded tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto prepared cookie sheet.
-Bake 12 to 15 minutes or until edges are set.
-Cool 1 minute.
-Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. -Cool completely for about 15 minutes.
Malt Glaze:
-Mix all ingredients in a medium bowl with spoon until smooth and spreadable.
-Spread Malt Glaze over cookies.
-Sprinkle with crushed malt ball candies.
**Yield: About 2 dozen cookies.
