    Sugar Cookies-Roll Out

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 cup margarine
    • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
    • 1/2 tsp. almond extract
    • 2 1/2 cups flour
    • 1 tsp. baking soda
    • 1 tsp. cream of tartar


    Instructions


    1. In a mixing bowl, cream the maragrine, and sugar.

    2. Beat in extracts and egg.

    3. In a separate bowl combine the flour, baking soda, and cream of tartar.

    4. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, and blend through.

    5. Chill for at least 1 hour.

    6. On a surface sprinkled with powdered sugar, roll out 1 quarter of the doug to 1/8" thickness.

    7. Cut out.*

    8. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake@ 350 for 7-8 minutes.

    9. Cool, frost and decorate.

    10. * you can sprinkle with colored sugar before baking if desired.
