Streusel Cream Peach Pie

List of Ingredients
Pie crust for 1 layer
4 cups of quartered peaches
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 tsp nutmeg
2 eggs
2 Tbs of cream or 1/2 & 1/2
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup soft butter
Recipe
Oven set at 425.
Fit the pie crust into a 9" pie plate.
Arrange the peach slices over the crust and sprinkle with the sugar and nutmeg
Whisk the eggs adding the cream, and pour over the peaches. In another bowl, mix the brown sugar, flour and butter.
Sprinkle the crumb mixture over the fruit.
Bake for 40-45 minutes.
NOTES:
* temperature seems a little high for that length of time you may want to lower it after 15-20 minutes or so.
* canned peaches would be fine in this recipe, just lower the amount of sugar called for in the recipe.
