    Cube Steak Parmigiana

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 cube steaks
    • 3 Tbls. flour
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • 1 egg
    • 1Tbls. water
    • 1/3 cup grated parmesan
    • 1/3 cup cracker crumbs
    • 1/2 tsp. basil
    • oil to brown steaks in
    • 1 jar spaghetti sauce
    • 2 slices mozzarella cheese
    • 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
    • Hot cooked spaghetti for 4


    Instructions


    1. In three seperate small bowls mix the following:

    2. Bowl 1: flour, salt and pepper

    3. Bowl 2: egg and water

    4. Bowl 3: parmesan cheese, crackermeal crumbs and basil

    5. Dip the steaks into the flour 1st; then the egg mixture, then roll in cheese mixture.

    6. In a large skillet heat oil and brown steaks on both sides.

    7. Remove to a greased 9x13 in a single layer.

    8. Bake, uncovered @ 350 for 25 minutes, turning once.

    9. Pour spaghetti sauce over the top and bake 20 minutes longer.

    10. Place 1/2 slice mozzarella cheese on each steak. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and a little oregeno.

    11. Return to oven for 5 more minutes to melt the cheese.

    12. Serve with hot cooked spaghetti.
