    Chicken Potato Pie

    List of Ingredients


    • 4 1/2 cups frozen hash browns thawed
    • 6 Tbls. margarine mlelted
    • salt and pepper to taste
    • FILLLING:
    • 1/2 cup chopped onions
    • 1/4 cup margarine
    • 1/4 cup flour
    • 2 tsp. chicken bouillon granules
    • 1 tsp. worcestershire sauce
    • 1/2 tsp. basil
    • 2 cups milk
    • 3 cups cooked cubed chicken
    • 1 cup of peas thawed


    Instructions


    1. In a bowl mix together the potatoes, margarine, salt and pepper.

    2. Press into a greased 9" pie pan and up the sides to form a crust.

    3. In a sauce pan saute the onion in margarine.

    4. Add the flour, bouillon, worcestershire and basil; stir in the milk.

    5. Bring to a boil and cook til thick; stirring

    6. Add the chicken and peas.

    7. Spoon gently into the potato crust.

    8. Bake @ 375 for 30-35 minutes til crust is golden brown.
