    Double Crusted Sausage Pizza Squares

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 pkg. crescent rolls; refrigerated
    • 1 lb Italian sausage
    • 1 red pepper diced
    • 1 onion diced
    • 1/2-3/4 cups freshed sliced mushrooms
    • 2-3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
    • 1 egg
    • 1 Tbls. water
    • 2 Tbls. grated parmesan cheese
    • 1-2 Tbls. Pizza seasonings or Italian seasonings


    Instructions


    1. Cook sausage until cooked; drain and set aside.

    2. Cook onion and pepper and mushrooms in drippings from sausage until tender; drain and set aside.

    3. Press 1 pkg.crescent rolls into a greased 9x13 pan; going up the sides a little.

    4. Shred the cheese.

    5. Spread the sausage onto the bottom crust.

    6. Top with the peppers, onions and mushrooms

    7. Sprinkle the cheese on top.

    8. Roll out the 2nd pkg of crescent rolls to fit on top of cheese.

    9. SEAL the edges.

    10. In a small bowl beat the egg, water, parmesan and seasonings together.

    11. Brush over the top crust.

    12. Cut a few slits in the top crust.

    13. Bake @ 400 for 20-25 minutes, until golden brown.
