Sweet Potato Cream Pie

2 cups fresh sweet potatoes, mashed
14 ounce can sweetened condensed milk
2 eggs, room temperature
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ginger
9" unbaked pastry shell
1 cup heavy whipped cream, whipped
3/4 cup pecans, chopped
Recipe
Combine sweet potatoes, milk, eggs, salt, and spices.
Beat until smooth.
Pour mixture into pastry shell, and bake at 425, for 15 minutes.
Reduce temperature to 350, and continue baking for 30 minutes.
Cool, and garnish with whipped cream and pecans.
Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
